How to Reach Bandhavgarh National Park from Ahmedabad
By Air
The nearest airports to Bandhavgarh are Khajuraho Airport (approx. 190 km) and Jabalpur Airport (approx. 180 km). From either airport, you can hire a taxi or private cab for a 4 – 5 hour drive to the park gates.
By Train
You can take a train from Ahmedabad to Umaria (closest station, 12 km from the park) or Katni (around 90 km). From these stations, taxis or private vehicles provide convenient access to Bandhavgarh.
By Road
Bandhavgarh is approximately 1,200 km from Ahmedabad. The drive usually takes 20–22 hours via Vadodara – Indore – Hoshangabad – Satna – Umaria. The route is mostly on good highways and passes through forests, small towns, and scenic countryside.
