How to Reach Bandhavgarh National Park from Nagpur
By Air
The nearest airport to Bandhavgarh is Jabalpur Airport (approx. 170 km). You can take a direct or connecting flight from Nagpur to Jabalpur, then hire a taxi to reach the park in about 4 – 5 hours. Private transfers are easily available from the airport.
By Train
You can take a train from Nagpur to Umaria (35 km) or Katni (100 km), both well connected to Bandhavgarh by road. From either station, taxis and private vehicles are available for the short drive to the park.
By Road
Bandhavgarh is roughly 480 km from Nagpur, taking about 9 – 10 hours by car. The route via Seoni – Jabalpur – Umaria is scenic and smooth. Private cabs, buses, and tour vehicles operate regularly, making it a comfortable trip for wildlife travelers.
